Thanks to a generous matching campaign in collaboration with Abaven Foundation, our All For Armenia volunteers, led by Operations Team Lead Hovhannes Verdyan, visited 50 families currently residing in the border village of Kornidzor to deliver festive Christmas and New Year baskets in January.

The families had been identified as high-needs by our team and included locals as well as displaced families from Artsakh. This presented an ideal opportunity for our team members to sit down with families from Artsakh who had been displaced after the events of both 2020 and 2023, as well as local families, and share with them our vision moving forward, which includes developing Kornidzor village and increasing our educational offerings at our KorniTun community home. Most were already familiar with KorniTun, as their kids had already participated in at least one class there.

The baskets contained traditional Armenian holiday treats, including dried fruits, an assortment of sauces, selection of organic jams, Christmas biscuits, candies, chocolates, Christmas pastries, olive oil, cheeses, charcuterie assortment, lemon tea, black coffee, and honey.
