Volunteer Appreciation
January 8, 2024
With the new year upon us, we pay tribute to our amazing All For Armenia volunteers, who made our third annual Armenian Christmas event at the border such a resounding success for the youth of Kornidzor village!
The presence of these volunteers — who hail from all corners of the world and diverse backgrounds — brought life and movement to this critical border village following a period of profound national tragedy for the Armenian people. With their courageous and passionate nature, our volunteers proved to locals that they are not forgotten, that they are in our minds and hearts.
For us, Armenia — our Hayrenik, our homeland — starts at the border and ends in Yerevan, not the other way around. AFA’s KorniTun community home is a testament to this concept and facilitates the presence of our volunteers in this border community, ensuring the constant formation of bonds with the people of Kornidzor.
We are grateful to all the volunteers who have already made a trek to the border with us, and we look forward to welcoming additional volunteers who are eager to make a difference with us this 2024.
