Today, our team returned to Goris and the nearby villages. The All for Armenia team, which included Dea, Matthieu, Sevag, and our driver Narek, reached the village of Tegh in the middle of a snow storm.
Harout, our contact in Tegh, helped us empty the truck. We delivered 10 packages of food, 10 hygiene kits, as well as warm clothing for 30 adults and 15 children. Before leaving for Goris, we had the privilege of a conversation with Dikin Hasmik, who is a very respected and well-known figure in the community.
Once we reached Goris, we delivered aid to the Francophone Center, where Carmen, our contact, had gathered the refugee families in need. We recorded information of families in need for future aid and sponsorship. We distributed 22 packages of food to 22 families, as well as 22 hygiene kits, 37 school kits for children, and bags of warm clothes. The rest of the eight food bags, eight hygiene kits, 13 school kits, and clothing were distributed by Carmen throughout the week.
